She didn't come back so he ordered a new queen and by the time the newbie arrived the oldie had returned. Bees are such funny things. Good luck Jim, I hope that you find her laying in the next inspection.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09738864691732179532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298589991764011204.post-39695758816216643042012-05-23T09:55:53.436-07:002012-05-23T09:55:53.436-07:00Good advice. I'll check back in about a week and a half and see what's going on there.Jim Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11512985557177979070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298589991764011204.post-80093847549176514612012-05-23T06:54:09.201-07:002012-05-23T06:54:09.201-07:00I'd give them another week or 2 to be sure.
Ev...I'd give them another week or 2 to be sure.
Every time I have panicked and thought the queen didn't survive, by the time I arranged to buy a new queen, when I went to install her I found a laying queen! Sometimes it takes a few more days to get around to laying than we think. After a couple more weeks of queenlessness then you can take action.

My $0.02...

-- StevenSteven Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13417662224567167466noreply@blogger.com
